See it on your own house before anyone quotes you.

Upload a photo of your home or business, then place the cameras or draw the lighting yourself. Watch the coverage cones land where you actually want them, or run the roofline in warm white and see what the street sees.

The studio

Tap the picture. That is the whole interface.

Cameras mode drops a camera where you tap — drag it to move it, drag the purple dot to aim it. Lighting mode traces a run point by point and lights it up. Start on the sample home or the sample storefront — or load a photo of yours.

Your photo stays on your phone. The studio runs entirely in your browser — the picture is never uploaded to Piets or anyone else. If you want us to see the design, you download it and send it yourself.

Your design is remembered in this browser, on this device, so closing the tab does not lose it — use Clear saved design to forget it. The photo itself is never saved, so load it again to see the design back on your own house.

From a sketch to a real quote

What happens after you send it.

The studio is the easy half. The quote comes from looking at the property properly — and most of that can be done before anyone drives out to you.

01

You send the design

Download the picture you just made and text or email it with the address. That is enough to start.

02

We study the property

Aerial and street imagery, the parcel outline and what is on the public record — roof shape, setbacks, outbuildings, where the driveway runs.

03

A real layout comes back

Camera positions with the approximate view from each one, or a lighting run measured to the fascia, with what it takes to power and feed it.

04

One walk-through confirms it

Soffit height, overhang depth and where the cable can physically run decide the last few inches. Then the number is the number.

What the studio is and is not. It is an honest sketching tool to get everybody looking at the same picture. It is not a survey, it does not measure anything, and the cones it draws are approximate. Nothing here is a quote — the price comes after someone has actually looked at the building.

Cameras mode

Argue about the angles now, not after the holes are drilled.

Most camera regret is about where they ended up pointing. Put them on the picture first and the conversation gets a lot shorter.

  • Drop as many as you like and see them numbered CAM 1, CAM 2, the way the estimate will show them
  • Four coverage angles, from wide corner cover to a long narrow run down a driveway
  • Turret, bullet or dome, so you can picture what is actually on the wall
  • Crossing pairs at the front and the rear — the layout we start from when nobody has walked the property yet
Lighting mode

Pick the colour before you buy the colour.

Permanent track looks completely different in warm white than it does in red and green. Try both on your own roofline in about ten seconds.

  • Six colour sets, from soft warm white to full multicolour
  • Bulb spacing you can tighten until it reads the way you want from the street
  • A chase animation, so you can see what moving light looks like before committing to it
  • Permanent year-round track or a seasonal install — the page explains what changes
Send us what you made

Download the design, then text it to 631-871-5957.

Put the property address in the message. We will come back with a real layout and a real number, usually the same day.
